Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I stayed one night (had paid cash in advance for 10 nights) was bit all over my body by bed bugs. Upon inspection bedbug casings were under the mattress, and bedbug poo stains were all over the mattress. The sheets were clean upon arrival, but when I woke up there were... more

I was just in Toronto for medical reasons and needed a cheap place to crash until my appointment in the morning. I checked this place out and thank god I got to see the room before booking in, her repeatedly confirming no refunds should have been a red flag but I looked anyway, no bathroom except on the 1st floor,... more

I hopped off a greyhound, unaware the Toronto Bus station closes during the night, so the driver suggested the Bay Street motel/hotel, as being cheap. My expectations were very low, but I had no clue what I was in for. I viewed first room. It stunk bad and a hair on pillow. Looked dirty. Room two (which would be ten... more

The room was obviously small, but it had a fridge and a TV with all the channels, not just the typical, basic 'only to 44' that you find in the fancier hotels in Toronto (and other places). It was also cold and there was a pipe dripping above. The lights also didn't work in the washroom. But besides that, I... more

Ha! Remeber the last time you told somebody to 'go to hell' ? You might as well had sent them to Bay Street Motel... I can't believe that they actually charge you to stay there.... I would not stay there even if somebody would pay me lots of money to do so. I soo wish I 'd read the reviews... more

Don't be deceived by the decent website and the convenient downtown location - this place is too dirty to be a brothel. The photos on this site don't reflect the whole picture. You'd have to be there to feel that atmosphere. I've traveled quite a bit around the globe and I am positive there are caves in Afghanistan with better... more

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I stayed there last night and as I write this I am scratching a very extensive rash that I got from the bedbugs in my room. The place looks like it could collapse at any moment, the rooms are revolting and the size of a crackerbox, just enough room for a camp bed, the walls... more
