I stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in late January/early February 2010 for work-related travel and the hotel suited my needs perfectly! I took the Via Rail train from Union Station a few times, which is about a 7-10 minute walk from the hotel; Eaton Centre is also a 7-10 minute walk. I stayed on the 25th floor, which offered a... more

This isn't a typical bed in a room hotel. Room was most similar to Indigo-style though staying 3 nights you definitely notice the room details that make it superior. So modern apartment style room, fairly large, wood floors, modern decoration, almost full kitchen. Service was great, very friendly and never delays. Turndown service standard. You definitely notice the smaller size... more

We both enjoyed this hotel, the suite we had was brilliant and was very spacious indeed. The front desk was very helpful, possibly the best front desk service I have come across in all my travels. The location is superb, 5 min walk to the CN tower, 2 min walk to the local tube station, and 5 min to the... more

Stayed here over New Years Eve 2008-2009. We had a deluxe suite with a private bedroom. We paid $450 plus tax for the room, dinner, parking and "breakfast" in the morning. Breakfast is barely a continental type thing. Had better breakfasts at Fairfield Inns. The food at the restaraunt inside the hotel is okay if you dont have the energy... more

Feels like you are staying in your own modern "zen like" condo. Neat little "boutique" hotel, accomodating and friendly staff, cool rooms (hardwood floors, flat screen TV's, fountain, little kitchen) and overall a great value proposition. When compared to a recent stay at the Fairmont Royal York (which was darn near double the quoted price but apparently the same "4... more

First time staying in Cosmopolitan after staying at other, more established hotels in Toronto and we wouldn't stay anywhere else! The room, on the 9th floor, was a deluxe one-bedroom suite. It had room enough for two of us to feel comfortable (about 470 sq. ft). The bedroom, while a bit small, had a small chest of drawers for clothes.... more

We stayed here the opening weekend of the film festival (honestly, had no idea when I booked this leisurely trip!)... I would definitely say though that this place is exceptional, especially when you compare the room rates to comparable hotels in Toronto. We had hoped for a high floor and we were on the 9th (not too bad in my... more

The hotel is located right at King Street. It's about a ten minute walk to Eaton Centre and Dundas Square. Restaurants and shops close by. The room was big and clean. Nice bathroom and kitchen. Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is nothing special - I recommend breakfast at the Senator Restaurant instead (249 Victoria Street). There is a computer with... more

I arrived weary having just driven eight and a half hours straight. I did not have a reservation until the next night burt needed to be there a day earlier than I had planned. Not only did they honor the rate that I had obtained online, but they also checked me in immediately, brought my luggage, asked if I needed... more

Most peaceful stay ever! The staff there were great, so accommodating. The rooms are spectacular; it’s all about the feng shui. Beautifully decorates suites, with a yoga mat for your morning workout. When you check in, you can pick your nightly turn down scent (I chose vanilla). Great location, just steps from the Eaton Centre (shopping) and close to nightlife.... more
