Our two nights at Juniper Hills were filled with beauty--the lovely landscaped grounds, the quiet pond and the surrounding hills. This is truly a getaway place for relaxing away from the fast pace of the city.

The hostess Kathy is warm and friendly and ready to talk if that is your wish. We learned alot about her German background and experience of WWII which was very interesting.

The two rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless and connected by an outstanding marble bathroom. We did not have time to use the hot tub but I am sure it would be a joy in the evening with the glass all around and the stars so visible in the nighttime sky--something which is always a source of wonder to those of us who live in the smog of the city.

The first morning we had an incredible omelet, toast and fruit cup and the second, Kathy made a wonderful apple pancake--thick and tasty--also with a fruit cup. We were truly spoiled for plain cereal when we returned... more
