OK so let's face it, it's not the newest hotel in the area, in fact it's not even an attractive building, but it's still a great hotel. Spend a weekend with my husband to have a little getaway time. Great experience for our entire stay. Friendly front desk staff, great recommandation for restaurant and bars. Room is spotless. Stayed here 12/30-12/31. Valeted car and checked in. Was a simple procedure. Booked directly with hotel. Room was essentially a king bed with a wall of windows overlooking the Detroit river. Booked this as an alternate to staying in Detroit. I did the non-refundable pre-payment to get a slightly lower rate, then read the reviews here and wondered if I had made a mistake. I bid on a 2.5 star hotel in Windsor and got Hilton instead. Needless to say I was ecstatic because it is located by the river and is close to everything.
