My Mom and I spent 3 nights at the hotel this July (2012) and enjoyed it very much. My Mom has difficulty walking but was able to walk to restaurants, the waterfront and the theater no problem because everything was so close. There are also a lot of benches along the way where we could take rest stops. Parking can... More

Many original features in the house (ie: crown moulding, floors, ceiling medallians and fireplaces), however, that character is quickly forgotten...ie: the house is very musty. There is not good air circulation as there is no A/C (contrary to website) or ceiling fans or bathroom fans. Rooms are not appropriate to share as the ensuite bathrooms only have partial walls (~8ft in... More

The place has charm, being an old building. it was a great location, within walking distance to everything and 5min drive to local shopping malls/stores. I think the first night there, we ended up with no hot water-but the owner was always around and fixed the problem asap. The owner was also very helpful, recommended places for us to visit... More

We stayed here not too long ago and found the place was old and needed renovations. The room we were in smelled bad and we could hardly use the bathroom sink as part of the weird looking bathroom cabinet hung over part of it. Owner had just finished re-tiling the bathroom and it smelled strongly of plaster. There was no... More

We stayed at this place recently and the we found the owner Todd -- to be dishonest as he tried to rip us off. He said he prefers cash payments, refused to give a receipt for the payment, and then tried to charge us for a day that we already paid for. He was always anxious to get his money... More

We were two couples who reserved with Todd --- for one night in June 2012. When we arrived we found that rooms 2 and 3 were smelling terribly mildew. Todd was not on site, so we called him to inform we could not stay because of the strong smell. We found later that he had charged our credit cards directly... More
