Just spent four days in this quaint Victorian inn in Summerside, and I'm surprised to see that no one has reviewed it before!

Summerside itself is a great home base for exploring PEI, as it's easy to get to from the Confederation Bridge and pretty centrally located on the island. Within Summerside, the Silver Fox has a perfect location a few short blocks up from the waterfront, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The owner, Gary, is friendly and accommodating. The daily breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and our room (the Blue Fox room) was full of period detail -- high ceilings, antique furniture and original bathroom fixtures.

If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable spot to come "home" to each night, you can't go wrong with the Silver Fox Inn. more
