About 2.5/3 hours drive from Montreal and situated at end of road some 6 k outside of St-Alexis-des-Monts. Hotel overlooks Lake Sacacomie which means great views from restaurant and bar terraces + some rooms but 10 minute down several flights of steps to lake side beach. The service at this hotel is above reproach. The staff are friendly, the food is fantastic, and the surrounding area is beautiful. Not everything on their website is on the mark, however. Stayed there 3 days. This is a superior quality hotel in a terrific setting. Really unique experience. We went with our 3 children (5, 10 and 12 yrs), we stayed for 2 nights in suite 320. Fantastic scenery, great place to enjoy with the children, good variaty and quality of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner (no other restaurants in the area). Excursions a bit too expensive. more
