I have stayed at the Chateau twice over the past few years and I can honestly say I would never stay anywhere else when in Montreal. It looks like a converted mansion with all of the fireplaces and crown moulding from a long time ago. The rooms are nice and big, the staff are really helpful and even include a... more

Surprisingly not very many people are familiar with this little treasure... located on the very popular Sherbroolke Street .... it is just a minutes walk from the Latin quarter of Montreal... so shopping, theatre, museums and dining are within waking distance. The staff are friendly and know enough english to easily assist guest who do not understand french... Taxi's are... more

... you manage to get a room to the back. We were luckly to get a room on short notice in the high season. Our room was clean and spacious but it went out to the front and Rue Sherbrooke is a very busy street so it was far too noisy for us. It was quite hot, when we stayed... more

We visited Montreal October 22-24 and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at LArgoat. From reception to departure, it was excellent. The rooms were quiet, the bathrooms small yet functional. Breakfast was OK and the Living Room had a common desk top computer to check emails on. Parking around back was included. If you are going to Montreal... more

The weather during our early October visit to Montreal was quite chilly. Some might even say cold. When I told the concierge that our room was cold and requested the heat be turned on, I was told that 'heat would not be available until the following week'. Had it not been for this serious lack of service, I would classify... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the Labor Day weekend, in the cheapest, smallest room available (we spent all our money on food) and were pleasantly surprised to see that the room size was more than adequate. Small bathroom, but everything was clean..except for a few stains on the comforter, but I'm not hugely fussy. The staff was very... more

This was our first time in Montreal and the Chateau Del'Argoat was a pleasant surprise. The service was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was nice and quiet although it's on a main street. The room was very clean but just a little cramped for four people. The location was great. The metro was across the street, although we... more

This hotel was the perfect place for my husband's and my vacation. We love urban exploring, and the Chateau de l'Argoat, with a room that overlooked Sherbrooke, allowed us to feel as if we were apart of the city, while also giving a feeling of comfort and quiet when we needed to rest. Just blocks from the Metro and within... more

We stayed at this wonderful establishment for three nights. Our room was bright and lovely, clean, and large, with an exceptionally large bath which had an oversized tub. The common areas are nicely decorated, and the staff very welcoming and friendly. We particularly appreciated the secure off street parking, located at the back door of the hotel. The continental breakfast... more
