I don't speak an ounce of French. And this was my first experience in Montreal. But Anna, our gracious, talented and knowledgeable hostess, made our trip memorable and exquisite through our 3-night stay at her bed and breakfast. Au Git'Ann is located in a cute and quiet street just a short walk away from the excitement of the Latin Quarter... more

We stayed 5 nights with a toddler and a newborn. We stayed in two rooms due to bookings, the Picasso and the Endormeuse. The Endormeuse worked but was a bit small for 4, the Picasso was definitely the best. It's separated from the other bedrooms by a common area and this helped us feel better when the baby was crying... more

My wife and I stayed at Au Gita'Ann in June 2008. We were there for the Leonard Cohen concert and the Jazz Festival. We were greeted at the door by Ann who was and remained friendly enthusiastic and informative. The house is well set up for its purpose. Although it is quite compact we never felt crowded by the other... more

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Au Gitann in Montreal. Our hostess, Ann was warm, funny, patient, smart, helpful, as well as a fabulous chef (you will eat everything placed in front of you--be careful). The rooms are cozy and colorful and private and the location to the city is perfect (subways 1 block away, pier @ a 1/2... more

We came once, we returned for second, we couldn't resist a third. No better location for the Jazz Festival, and all what downtown Montreal has to offer, from night clubs to hikes in the hills, and stroll to the harbor. Don't go for just a day. Enjoy these elegant breakfasts and pleasant conversations with your host Ann and her guests.... more

My husband and I have stayed at Anne's B&B three times in the last few years. We love the B&B's location, the room (the Picasso), the kitchen (we opt out of the breakfast because we're early risers), and the host. Anne is very helpful in providing directions and suggestions, and on one of our stays, she got us out of... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Git'Ann's for two nights in mid-June, and it was by far the best part of our visit to Montreal! Her home is lovely, and very well laid-out for guests. It was cozy and yet not cramped at all. Her breakfasts were delicious! Quite gourmet! And she provided enough food to get you through the... more

We arrived at Au Gitann on a Friday night and were greeted by Anne herself. She sat down with us, after showing us around the comfortable accommodations, and asked what we wanted to do while in Montreal and what we would like to eat for breakfast. My boyfriend and I then left for a walk around the neighbourhood. It is... more

Staying at Au Git'Ann truly is like staying with a friend--a friend with an impeccably tidy home, funky but homey decor and a flair for cooking fabulous breakfasts! The rooms can get a little tight, because of the floor plan of the house, but the decor is cosy and homey, and the hospitality can't be beat. From the moment you... more

I was in Montréal from May 28th - June 3rd for business and a lil pleasure time. I went with Au git'ann after I did a thorough search on www.tripadvisor.com for an inexpensive and conveniently located b n' b. I always check bnb’s and hotels through trip advisor before I book them. It’s so important! Plus you get first hand... more
