Upon recommendation from a friend, my husband and I stayed here for a 3 day trip to Montreal. The staff was friendly and helpful. We booked a deluxe room and it was comfortable and quaint. The room and bathroom were quite large. We were on the main floor facing the busy avenue, so it was a bit noisy at night.... More

My husband surprised me with a trip to Montreal for our 31st anniversary. He made the hotel reservations and I was a little nervous at what he would pick. This hotel is awesome. It is an old European style hotel with a little modern flair. Our room was beautiful, it had two walls of exposed brick, fancy light fixtures, and... More

I can't figure out how people didn't like this charming hotel. The breakfast was pretty good with croissant, fruits, juice, coffee. I've tried personnaly, my wife and I, three rooms with nice decors and was very impressed by the staff. very professionnal and helpful. My last stay was the 15th of september and was AGAIN, very pleased with my stay.

We stayed only 2hours in this hotel and decided to go back to Quebec city. Service is poor, our room was not very clean, it smelled like the room had not been opened in months! A/C was definately not working. We payed almost 200$ for something that was horrible. Bed was not comfortable, employees don't talk together much...Also they ask... More

The hotel is a great place to stay, if you appreciate the retro historic architecture. The hostess is very accomodating and helpful. Location is great - close to everything, The renovations combine the hostrical nature of the building with the modern architecture. We had to change our plans at the last minute and the owner was kind enough to allow... More

The hotel is set in a nice neighborhood, not too far from the Vieux Port, Latin Quarter, and the Rue Prince Arthur pedestrian way with nice shops and restaurants. Our room was small but OK, clean and attractive. Unfortunately, there was no elevator and the room was on the third floor. The breakfast seemed a bit sparse - not much... More

My husband attends the Montreal Grand Prix every year and has been staying at this hotel for over 30 years now. I've joined him on several occasions in the past and again for this year's Grand Prix weekend. I was quite impressed with the numerous reno's the hotel has undergone. The front entry and lobby have been re-done, the front... More

I have been staying at this hotel for nearly thirty years. As a regular customer, I got to know the owner very well, and she is now a close friend. This hotel is a close friend. I love the neighborhood, the convenience, and the kindness of all those who I have met here. On days when business is busy, the... More

I was happy with my stay here. The managers are very friendly and helpful. The location is within walking distance to many tourist attractions, restaurants, bars. The rooms had a nice charm to them. I would stay here again if I am lucky enough to make it back to Montreal.

As the title says... This place is clean and quiet. I'm sure I've stayed at nicer hotels but I've definitely stayed at A LOT of worse places. Staff was the best part. Always had a smile and were always willing to help. Again, this should be the standard, but it's not. During my travels I have learned to appreciate good... More
