It was a relief to stay here after some dodgy experiences elsewhere. This place is great, relaxed, cool staff, comfortable rooms and it was fantastic to stay in the Old City. I've stayed in a number of hostels, and this is one of my favorites. There is a huge common area with a big kitchen, both of which are conducive to hanging out and meeting other travelers. Good free coffee always available, along with free internet access. The staff's friendly and helpful, the bathrooms clean, and the whole place is cozy.... more

Great place, really enjoyed the arty atmosphere, nice to be treated like a human instead of the usual impersonal atmosphere. I really appreciated their take on no or low advertising in the common room. One of the staff told me they don't advertise anywhere because they don't have to, just word of mouth says it all.
