It is a little bit outside of the city but if you buy a tourist three day pass you can travel everywhere around Montreal for $17 by Metro (super deal). 5 minute walk to the station. Our stay at D&D was great! No complaints at all. Location was ideal- so close to the train station. Note we are not French Speaking which was potentially a troublesome issue.
