From the minute you step into this Bed and Breakfast it feels as though you are entering the home of your favorite aunt whom you visit every summer. There is a European feel when you first enter and it is the theme throughout the building. There is a lovely dining room that is central to this place where everyone comes... more

We were greeted by a very steep staircase to the main floor, which, after 10 hours of travelling was quite an effort. We occupied the only en-suite bedroom - an ugly shade of brown - with dim lighting. We stayed for 4 nights. We were introduced to some odd breakfasts. Canada is famous for bacon, but didn't see any during... more

A quaint place in a great location. Close to Rue St Denis and the metro station. Breakfasts were always interesting and we loved meeting the other guests around the large dining table. However, the parking rules were a nightmare! You can only park between 2 certain points on one side of the road on certain days and then on the... more

I stayed here with my mom for 3 nights in June and we had a great time. The location was perfect for walking to downtown Montreal and the subway station was very close by. Robert and Nathalie were very helpful in providing us with maps and suggestions of places to go, giving directions, and telling us how to use the... more

We stayed two nights with Nathalie and Robert in Montreal last week, and enjoyed every bit of it. The room, though small, was quaint and full of charm, as is the whole house. You have an in room air conditioner, so the climate is always to your taste, and full usage of the downstairs kitchen and livingroom with television. It... more

This is an excellent, friendly little B&B. Located 30mn from Downtown in the active yet laid-back French neighborhood, it offers calm and convenience. The host Nathalie is extremely nice and helpful, and cooks wonderful breakfasts every morning, where the various hosts also get the occasion to share stories at the large communal table. Rooms are very clean and correctly furnished,... more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. our room was very clean (it passed muster with my wife, no easy task) and comfortable, and our hosts Nathalie & Robert were very gracious and helpful at all times. The breakfasts were wonderful, home cooked gourmet treats with fresh ingredients. It was also, as advertised,... more

This B&B was probably at least half of why I fell in love with Montreal during a recent four-day visit. It's a beautiful place, charming without being kitchy, and it's located smack in the middle of where we wanted to be: just a few blocks from St. Denis, fifteen minute walk to Mont Royal or the Old Village. We arrived... more

We just returned from a fabulous stay at "A l'adresse du centre ville." Here's part of what makes it so great: -Excellent location right in the center of town, but on a quiet street (St. Christophe, just above Maisonneuve) -Our room was lovely--comfortable, spacious, elegant, and air conditioned. -Wonderful hosts. We arrived after midnight, and had been told that a... more

For my money, a hotel experience is mostly about service and hospitality. With Robert, Natalie and their staff as your hosts, you can't do better. I've made at least annual visits a must for my occasional Montreal visits and they have truly gone beyond what you would usually expect - even of B&B hosts. But if you're wondering - can... more
