Good hotel at reasonable price. Could not understand why the restaurant was closed Sundays and Mondays. Mind you there were excellent restaurants in the area. more

The Hotel Clarendon is centrally located to everything you'll want to see in Quebec City. Park your car in the underground parking spot across the street, and walk everywhere! Great restaurants, sightseeing, a wonderful place to spend a few days. And the rates at the hotel are very reasonable. more

If you're looking for a hotel that's in the midst of just about everything tourists want to see in Old Quebec City, the Clarendon Hotel is one of your best bets. It also has a decent restaurant on site. But be aware it's quite expensive for a non-luxury hotel. We paid almost $700 including tax for a 2-night stay in... more

Great art deco style hotel. Restaurant, bar and reception areas are very nice. Half the rooms are on the outside and the other half look into the central space - try to get a room with a good view. Our room was internal facing but it was large and their was a fridge. It was kind of tired and dated... more

Perfect location in Old Quebec for a very good price. Close to everything you would ever wanna see in the Old Town. Staff was unbelievable, keeping us informed about everything that was going on in and around the hotel. It might be the oldest hotel in North America, but it offered every and all modern conveniences. Rooms are well maintained... more

After reading many reviews we made our reservation directly with the Hotel Clarendon in Old Quebec City. We had called them on 3 separate occasions and received 3 different nightly quotes and booked at the rate of $125.10 per night receiving a confirmation number. We were quite surprised when we checked-in to learn the rate was $170/per night. We told... more

This hotel was right downtown in the old part of Quebec City, so you can't do better than this for location as the major sights are within walking distance, as are plenty of restaurants and shopping. Parking for the hotel is in a public garage across the street ($15/24 hrs), and you can walk from the garage to the hotel... more

My husband and I had booked 3 nights on the internet (no special price) about a month ago When we arrived we were given a tiny room obviously for one person : no table, one tiny wardrobe ( if my husband put his shirts I could not hang anything) We complained and were given another room the next day: much... more

You cannot choose a more central hotel from which to explore Québec City. And if you like old hotels, this is the oldest and has plenty of charm in the common areas. The staff is great and welcoming. Upstairs, it's a little small in some of the rooms. It's clean, modern, and well-supplied with toiletries. The municipal parking, which costs... more

We stopped in at the lounge. A great jazz duo with the bassist doing vocals. The drinks? A black Russian had a smidge of darkness under a pile of ice. I couldn't telll if there was any vodka. more
