The Clarendon is the oldest hotel in Quebec City. It’s small and old but clean. The hotel is in the heart of old Quebec so all the interesting places are within walking distance. I’m not a big fan of old hotels but I have to say, if you’re going for the real Old Quebec experience you must stay there! ..And... more

The Clarendon does the work. Its location is perfect. The public parking is right in the hotel basement. The rooms were very clean and the service and concierge were outstanding. more

We had booked a B&B which proved to be unacceptable and went looking for a room at the Clarendon. Lovely lobby and very helpful and friendly staff ( Michel ). They had a room which was available and at not a bad price. Good size room with 2 db beds, large bathroom and great air conditioning! We asked for a... more

I cannot praise this hotel highly enough.....we had a fantastic expererience. I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews re small room &hard beds but we stayed in room 622 and it was simply beautiful...elegant and classical in romantic colours,super-comfy bed with large TV, ample storage and a view of the inner courtyard. It looked lke it... more

In conjunction with an international meeting we stayed 5 nights at room 727 at the top of hotel Clarendon. The location could not be better, if you like the ancient atmosphere of Old Quebec. Walking distance to the Château Frontenac, the Centre Infoturiste Office, numerous restaurants and shops. To get any further the free Écolobus-shuttle will take you out through... more

We had great service from the front desk.. The man that showed us the room was very helpful. We stayed in room 725 and found it to be very cozy. It was clean, the bathroom was huge and the tub was perfect for those who enjoy relaxing in a bath after a lot of walking!! The rooms interior design wasn't... more

Thought I had a deal through Hotwire for this one, but beware. Rooms are about 10x10' and you'll have difficulty to pass around the bed. Hotel is old, with pre-first-war carpet perfects for your allergies! Staff at the front desk were watching movie on Internet and just soooo didn't care about us. Stay somewehere else! Location is convenient. more

We got a great deal on Priceline but were a little nervous due to other reviews, although we knew the location of the hotel and were happy about that. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly fine, not huge but big enough. The view was of the inner courtyard but we didn't... more

The location is awesome, right in the middle of old quebec. We were there for Winter Carnaval and were walking everywhere. The room we had is in a smallish side but have a big bathroom. The room and bathroom were absolutly spotless. One glitch though : we booked 1 queen bed but was given 1 double bed. we realise this... more

Hotel Clarendon is Quebec's oldest hotel. The european charm is beautiful. We went there for a short getaway and being right in the middle of everything, it helped us in the harsh winter. The room we got was an ok size, except that furniture was placed in positions that didnt give us much room. Bathroom was tiny but very very... more
