I based my choice of hotel on these reviews . The location is perfect and my room had recently been redone and was decorated with matching bedspreads, curtains and wall paper . Immaculate . I have health issues that prevented my carrying luggage up three flights of stairs: the staff happily did it for me . Their suggestions of restaurants... more

We stayed at the Chateau de Pierre for two nights last month. Our room was large and very clean with it's own garden. However, the bathroom was tiny. So tiny there was not even a place in it for a wash sink, which was located in the room. During our stay we only met Patrice twice, when she let us... more

Huge disappointment! I picked this hotel because of prior reviews that bragged about the great breakfast muffins, location in walled city and parking at reduced rates. What we received was bland hard muffins with what I think were rasins......the same muffin all 3 days with no other choices! Even after 3 to 4 calls before arriving to make sure parking... more

We stayed three nights at the hotel and found it wonderful, cozy and very charming. The hotel owner, Richard, is very friendly and hospitable and provided the guests a homey atmosphere (as well as umbrellas and *FREE* wireless Internet). The hotel is renovated and the interior is beautiful. Centrally located within a short walk from the main attractions of the... more

We just arrived home from our trip to Old Quebec City were we stayed for 4 nights at the "Le Chateau de Pierre". This small hotel was absolutely fantastic and if we visit Old Quebec City again the Le Chateau de Pierre would be our first choice for accomodations. The entire Hotel was absolutely spotless! The chandeliers gleamed, the rooms... more

Wonderful location in the heart of old Quebec. The hotel was elegant and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful. The first night the plumbing in our bathroom malfunctioned. We were immediately moved to another room amid profuse apologies. We would very happily go back to this hotel more

Wonderful B&B in old Quebec - when we say old Quebec, it is directly behind Chateau Frontenac. Friendly staff - we bought a bottle of wine to have before going out for dinner but didn't have a corkscrew. no problem at all - we followed the owner downstairs and she opened our wine for us! Rooms are clean. Bathroom (shower... more

We spent 8 nights in apartment #24, which is on the first floor of the separate apartment building at 24, Mont Carmel. We liked the lovely one-bedroom apartment very much and found that it had almost everything we needed. The living room furniture was sparse and a little worn, but the apartment was immaculately clean and located less than two... more

My husband and I and my cousin and his wife just returned from a wonderful stay in Quebec City. On our arrival at Le Chateau de Pierre, we were met by Richard Owner/Manager. Our first impressions were very good and we were not disappointed. Richard was very friendly and helpful answering our questions. The rooms were comfortable and very clean... more

We agonized over finding a place to stay in Quebec City and spent hours online researching places to stay. We are glad we stumbled across this property and stayed here three nights. It is important to note this hotel has two options: the hotel and the apartments. My review is of the apartments. Our room was on the top floor... more
