We loved our stay at Auberge Saint-Antoine. We got an upgrade for our honeymoon to a suite with a balcony. Fantastic bed. Luxurious shower. Robes & slippers in the bath area. Fireplace. (My husband, a coffee junkie, also loved the n'espresso machine in the room. ) The staff was extremely pleasant & helpful. They also sent up some chocolates and... more

The Auberge Saint-Antoine is a gem in so many ways. Other reviews have hit the highlights, so I will briefly describe my experience. The hotel is located near the river at the bottom of the steep hills of the historic area. It's a 2-3 minute walk to the main historic area, maybe 10 minutes uphill to the massive Chateau Frontenac,... more

Thanks to Tablet Hotels recommendations, we were able to book another 5 star Boutique Hotel in Quebec City. The inside is a blend of old and new with artifacts scattered in public rooms and hallways that were uncovered during excavation. We spent three nights there, prior to boarding a cruise ship. Our rooms overlooked the St. Lawrence river. One room... more

We stayed at the Auberge St. Antoine in mid-September for our wedding anniversary. We found the hotel to be exceptional -- friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff; clean, stylish, modern facilities; and a sense of history and place that really enhanced our stay. Our king bed was extremely comfortable (if a tad soft) and the bedside lighting made reading in bed... more

I was disappointed with this hotel. After reading all the reviews I expected an exceptional property. The room was small with an old tv and only one comfortable chair. I requested a king size bed and did not get one until the last night of our stay. The bed and the linens were very nice. The bathroom had no exhaust... more

This was our second time staying at the Auberge. The previous time was approximately 3 years ago and once again it exceeded expectations. We opted for a Luxe room w/ Balcony and glad we paid the extra expense for the added comfort. The room was spacious, comfortable and very luxurious. The bed linens are of the highest quality and the... more

This is definitely an upper-end property, with especially well-styled public areas (e.g. museum artifacts and the like tastefully displayed). Our deluxe suite was big enough, with new flat-screen TV, Bose music system, an ample number of hangers in the closet, large jacuzzi, plenty of towels, a comfortable bed, with nice extra touches (e.g. complimentary slippers) plus a pleasant view of... more

This hotel is incredible; the best in the city and maybe even in the province. It is located in the heart of the Vieux-Port (city centre). The rooms are gorgeous! The views are gorgeous! Everything is gorgeous! This place is 10000x better than the Chateau Frontenac. The hotel's restaurant is pretty good too. A word of advice, I've stayed here... more

Lots of pluses from the moment we arrived. Great location in the lower old town. Friendly helpful staff, large comfortable rooms with a lots of attention to detail like plenty of counter space and excellent lighting in bathroom, spacious sitting area, etc. A minor clitch did occur, but staff and management were very quick to correct and make up for... more

Bike Riders Tours books this hotel for the last two nights of its Quebec cycling trips. Backroads does too. I also saw a Bike Vermont van as I was leaving. We are all lucky that they indulge us this way. I would describe the hotel as "rustically hip." It is part of the Relaix & Chateaux hotels and is Canada's... more
