the staff in this hotel are the worst i have ever experienced - incompetent, disorganized, and sometimes rude. the room was terrible. it had a small footprint to begin with, but when you add a pitched ceiling with a tiny dormer, the room becomes a closet. the "free breakfast" was actually a voucher for a coffee, muffin and fruit at... more

OK, after reading other reviews, I think it really depends on the room. If you're in the basement or near the reception desk, most find it's awful. As for my experience, we were at room 221, which was a deluxe room with brick wall - same level as reception. It wasn't the biggest room, but quite charming. I have read... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Acadia From May 29 - 31. The ladies at the front desk were extremely pleasant and we were very happy with the service provided by them. Each girl was very friendly and always willing to answer questions about the city or assist us with any issues. Hotel is in a great location (on... more

We were going in Quebec City my boyfriend and I and decided to stay at the Hotel Acadia. The experience was wonderful from the beginning to the end. We had a very nice and clean room with a nice brick wall in the room that gave it a very nice rustic aspect; the staffs were smiling and very helpful. The... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Acadia on April 13th, booking their Romance Package, for a well-deserved break. We found the room pleasant enough, but a little underwhelming—they make the rooms look far bigger in the photos, and you can't tell that the ceilings are low. The bed didn’t seem spacious enough for two either. The package included... more

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Hotel Acadia. Our room was pretty with a lovely large en-suite bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when we paid with traveller's cheques which caused them to be a little flumoxed. The addition of a free jacuzzi in the hotel was an extra bonus as... more

I booked the Hotel Acadia with confidence after reading a review from this site and seeing the hotel images posted. This property was also listed as a level 3 hotel for the conference that I was attending. The best part of the stay was that the hotel was in walking distance to the convention center (quite a walk), and located... more

I was positively impressed by the Hotel Acadia - the rooms were superbly furnished and had everything we needed. More surprising was the nice breakfast included at a restaurant just around the corner as well as the nearby parking made available to guests for a cost of $12 a day (very reasonable for Old Quebec). The best part of this... more

We just got back from a weekend stay at the Acadia. I travelled with my husband, parents, sister, her husband and their 3 yr old daughter. I stayed in room 121, in the basement. Even though the room was in the basement, I felt like I was on the top floor because it was bright and cheery. The room itself... more

This hotel is very nice. The historical features are still very present which is part of the hotel's charm. We stayed in room 101, a suite. Although it is located in the basement, it is very nice. Working fireplace, big shower, jacuzzi tub. The service is very nice. We booked the romantic package and went to Conti Caffe for supper.... more
