I've been there in December 2007 for 2 nights-3 days for Boxing Day, in a dormitory with a friend. What i really appreciated is the perfect location, it can't be closer to the old Quebec, just a few minutes walk to the wall surrounding the city. Rue St Jean is a great place to find some cute restaurant, libraries, and... more

Hostelling International's Quebec City Hostel is by far the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. It's rated three stars, and it holds itself to high standards. Price-wise it's among the best you'll find in the entire city, especially during events like Carnival. I recommend the rooms in the newer wing, which is connected by footbridges, though I think that only... more

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. They were friendly, helpful, and constantly cleaning the place. The location is perfect. It is in the middle of Vieux Quebec, and close to city bus stops if you want to go to other parts of the city. It is an easy walk from the bus terminal and train... more

This was my favourite hostel that I stayed in in Canada. I stayed in an all-female dorm - the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and you had a large locker for storing valuables (make sure you bring your own padlock along). Each bed also had its own nightlight (and small shelf) so you could stay awake (and see)... more

The hostel is located on a steep street, so it's kind of tiring to get there everytime you get out to walk or do whatever you have to do. Yet it's really cool because it's in the heart of old-Québec and everything is close. It's inmense, I mean, the building is huge. You can get lost there!! But it's well... more

It isn't the cheapest hostel in Quebec city but it's the cleanest and most spacious hostel that I found in my fortnight in Canada... ah! and everything is new, modren and hi-tech. It's an OK place in the old town center (Chateau Frontennac, Abraham Fields, etc.) though I found it too big... too many people and not as cosy as... more

GREAT place! Rooms are big, clean, safe and neat. Lots of bathrooms around the floor, so it's not too busy. I spent 3 nights there and they were always very clean, which matters a lot to me. Perfect location, right in the middle of old town. Excellent breakfast! Can't think of anything bad to say about this place! more

I recently stayed at this hostel for two nights, in a private room with private shower. It was my first time ever in a hostel and I was very pleased. The location is perfect! The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, clean, and confortable enough. The breakfast (included) is healthy and satisfying. The environment is nice and... more

This hostel is brilliant location & has so many amenities to make the most of your stay. The lobby has everything from internet to a laundry to tv room. We had a 2 night stay here from 31July'06 in a private room. The room had a bunk bed & was warm but had a ceiling fan. It was very clean... more

I stayed at this hostel for two nights in April 2002. It is a great place with a dedicated staff and a friendly and courteous atmosphere. Although the rooms are small and cramped as is often the case with youth hostels, there are lots of common areas to hang out when taking a break from exploring the city or trying... more
