This place is quaint, the breakfasts are good, the rooms are a bit small but beds are very comfortable. The location is a little inconvenient. Takes 15 minutes walking quickly to reach the fortified city. The hosts were not very helpful or informative. Overall, not bad but by no means amazing. more

I would not normally bother to write a review of an overpriced yet adequate b&b room (though with exceptional acoustics - bathroom noises from other rooms clearly audible!) except for my experience on the last day of my stay. The check-out time was officially 11:30am, but I had told my hosts that my conference ended about noon, and that I... more

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at the Chateau des Tourelles in Quebec City. Allan and Marc have done a fabulous job restoring a unique heritage building on Rue St. Jean. It has a wonderful roof top terrace with expansive views of the city and surrounding countryside. A great place to sit with a beer or... more

This is an excellent property! It is on the best street in Quebec City, Rue St. Jean. Our room had windows on 2 sides which offered a nice breeze all day and night. The rooftop terrace is great for relating with a glass of rose! more

Having viewed TripAdvisor in an effort find just the right B & B for this stay, we happened upon Chateau des Tourelles. As I type this we are enjoying our third evening here and my husband has wandered to the rooftop to enjoy the marvelous view prior to leaving for dinner. Our stay could not have been more delightful.. Alain... more

This B & B was very pleasant, albeit simple. The rooms were clean, comfortable, cozy and nicely done up. The breakfast was excellent, set up in a little cafe-like room. The owner was friendly and helpful. Though not within the walls of the old city, it's within a short walking distance and the rue St. Jean is a pleasant area... more

Highly recommend this charming B & B just outside the walls of Old Quebec City, in a cozy French neighborhood along a street filled with interesting boutiques and cafes. A short walk to the walled city but nice to be away from the throng of tourists. Our room was spotlessly clean with wooden floors, very comfortable bed and the bathroom... more

We stayed here for a weekend during Carnaval in Quebec City. The B&B is adorable - not too fancy, but very homey, right down to the hand-stitched quilts. The cooked breakfasts were excellent. Location is perfect - within walking distance of everything in the old city, but not right in the touristy part with all the other hotels. Service was... more

A beautifully restored bed and breakfast , 10 minutes walk to old city. The owners Mark and Allen are wonderful, helpful and very friendly, as is the rest of their families who often help with breakfast etc. Fantastic breakfast every morning in a lovely dining room. Bedrooms are spacious especially ours on the 3 floor with magnificient views over the... more
