The Good:
Very nice location, easy access to Old Quebec city, beautiful old Victorian home, the house keeper: Annik.
The Bad:
Very strong mold smell present in the home, I did not know that I was allergic to mold until I stayed there.
The first night we asked Richard (Owner) for directions to a restaurant, owner gave me a map with NO street names on it and told me that it was “easy to find”. When asked for clarification, Richard became very defensive as if I had implied that his directions were not satisfactory. He made me feel like I was asking too much.
Following day purchased very small amount of local beer and spirits for the in-laws that were traveling with us to try. When asked if we could place them in the fridge we were met with a scolding tone and a curt reply that there was a fridge in our room, in the closet. Since I have never had a fridge in my closet, I was not aware that it was in there.
