My partner and I stayed at this bed and breakfast in the Quebec countryside outside of Montreal while attending a French Canadian traditional music festival nearby - the Festival Memoire et Racines. It is located in a stone house on a hill above a river. You can walk down to the river and swim. There are three rooms on the second floor of the house and an adjacent cabin. We stayed in the house. The rooms are fairly small and share a bath. The owner only speaks French, but was willing to deal with my complete inability to speak the language and my partner's basic French. He was very patient, but some French is really needed here. Breakfast was great and used local ingredients - eggs, bacon, sausage, home made bread and baked goods and salad. I picked this location because I wanted to stay in historic house in the Quebec countryside. This definately satisfied that desire and is a relaxing, pleasant place to stay. Maggie the dog was very welcoming and calm also.
