We wanted to stay for one night, we had booked a whale watching tour the other day. upon arrival the motel was crowded and the lady at the check-in desk was not so friendly the moment we asked if she understood English. Her answer was a simple 'non' and than she informed us in French that they offered the room we booked to a French bus company, who suddenly arrived before we did. It didn't matter that we had a guaranteed booking with our credit card and the lady was not very willing to assist, at first. After we pointed out that we were indeed able to communicate in French (although not so good as in English), she asked for another hotel in Tadoussac.
We would never ever stay in this motel, we'd rather pay more money and stay at the Hotel Motel Béluga. more
