We stayed in a private room with a little baby. The staff at the reception was extraordinarily friendly, the whole building has a lofty and warm atmosphere. Our room had an outstanding bed (for a youth hostel), new and clean, also flooring (parquet) and walls (new paint) were nice. We even had an own toilet attached. Otherwise showers in the basement are little inconvenient but OK. Kitchen equipment is excellent, with fridge and freezer available. Breakfast can be booked additionally. From the hostel it is a short walk downtown and to the St-Lawrence-River. Be aware that this is Quebec and the staff has some trouble with this strange English language. Some parking spots are available next to the hostel. more
