There was no way to turn up the heat and there was no extra blankets. The air was moist and stale making our noses runny. I have stayed in many, many of hotels all across Canada, and this is the worst I have ever stayed in. In my room, I found: old tissues, an abandoned used band-aid, hair (not mine!) in the shower and on my sheets, questionable crusts on my lamp, chips on my radiator, stains on the carpet, and the list goes on.... I found this hotel to have the most friendly and accomodating staff that I have ever met. They went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with the rooms, brought extra towels without our even asking and were very helpful with directions to different places. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious.

Dirty carpets, Smelly rooms, dirty walls, loose electrical outlets, no elevator to second floor rooms, half the rooms don't have numbers on them - what's that about?

Even with the bath water extremely hot the shower was ice cold. The carpet and windows were stained and looked very dirty, the TV was old (couldn't hook up electronics) with bad reception, the pillows were terrible, bedding and chairs were noticeably worn, and we could hear every conversation going on in rooms around us. Good service, nice to have internet access included in price. Spacious rooms but need updating...Bedspreads worn and TVs old with fuzzy picture. Not a great value for the price.
