we stayed at this hotel as the last leg of our vacation. the hotel in my mind was exceptional. The water slide was actually better than one the water slides in West Edmonton Mall. When we arrived we were planning for supper instantly. The hotel was in the downtown . It was quite easy to find our way to the... more

I have to admit I didn't specifically check on the cleanliness but I find good housekeeping is invisible when it is done well. Room was comfortable and quiet though not large; we had a small fridge in the room. Beds were comfortable. It's not a 5-star hotel but it was a good stay for us. Staff is friendly, parking and... more

As a rule I quite enjoy the Best western chain. I was however disappointed with this one. I found the room I was in tired and worn, paint peeling off the window sills , several stains on the rug, an old fading 20 inch tv and a train track less than half a block away. The hallways are noisy with... more

We stayed for a Friday night in cold January, and decided to stay at this hotel after reading some reviews. The room was nice and big (#104), the bed firm, the bathroom shower area was a bit small, the location perfect for us. It was nice having wireless high speed in the room. I guess all rooms open onto the... more

I called to make a reseravtion and asked what is the location of the hotel. They told me that it was on the north end of the city. I was going on business so I asked if internet was available and they told me yes. They offered the hotel Shuttle to pick me up at the airport, which was on... more

We stayed here for one night on our road trip across BC, AB and SK. It was a VERY long walk to our room, we called it "walking the asylum" ..... it was very old and reminded me a lot of the hotels in Europe. Very small. The beds weren't great but it wasn't the worst I have ever slept... more

We spent 2 days at this hotel with another family. I was pleasantly surprised that the pool was warm. In fact, this is the first pool with a waterslide that I have gone into that didn't have cold water. The kids played in the pool for 4 hours. There was a pool attendant watching over the pool area during the... more

The first room we were given, after being told; these rooms are great, my favourite" by a staffer, was total crap. The pool view rooms just suck; don't let them talk you into one. The wallpaper was peeling and there was some mold visible under it. The TV didn't work, the smell of chlorine was strong, even with the door... more

After I read the reviews I was a little hesitant but it was fine. The hotel was full so I expected it to be a gong show but everything went very smooth. I was just a couple of blocks from my daughters dance recital so it was very convenient. I needed three rooms and the third room left was smoking.... more

If you have more than 5 people in your family, be aware that this hotel will not allow the 6th person or more out near the pool...the remaining family members will be confined to the room. With each room, you receive a maximum 5 wristbands allowing access to the pool area. You cannot sit at the tables to watch your... more
