I've stayed here a few times in both the 'bare bones' room and the jacuzzi suite. First off; it's cheap. VERY cheap for right down town with free parking (but he'll jack up the price if there's a conference in town). Don't let the website fool you! The Senator is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Staff members are out to lunch. This hotel has a great lobby, and terrible, old rooms. The staff is indifferent, walls paper thin, carpets dirty (I left my socks on). This is not a "boutique" hotel. Twice they have screwed up my reservation and blamed Expedia. This is an old run down hotel masquerading as a renovated, modern establishment. Go any where else. more
