Our 5 days at the Lodge were absolutely wonderful. Beat and Jackie are excellent hosts; generous, thoughtful and welcoming. We felt like we had been staying with old friends by the end of our time there. The food was consistently great and the hand-made accomodations (cabins, furniture etc.) were more than comfortable, yet rustic enough to fit in with the... More

To wake up in the morning in your own private log cabin, step out and breathe in fresh air and see the vistas across the lake. We have stayed at TWL on two occasions and are returning in June, 2007. Jackie and Beat made us feel like we were long lost friends and graciously welcomed us into their home. This... More

My three sons and I wanted to do some wilderness fishing and hiking. Tagish Wilderness Lodge was more than we expected. Fantastic scenery, fabulous fishing and Jackie and Beat are probably the most gracious and informative hosts that visitors to the Whitehorse area could find. A true eco-wilderness experience that the four of us are looking to repeat. Three cheers... More

Our Mt. Lanning trecking was an incredible experience! Beat was a great guide. The first day was hard to get through the bushes and forests to our camp above the treeline, but what a rewarding view high above the lake! Beat also turned out to be an excellent cook, preparing excellent meals starting at magnificent sunrises. The tours arround the... More

I was working on a documentary on Comets and needed to find people in the area who had witnessed a large meteor that fell in the area. Not only were Beat and Jackie witnesses (and interviews in our show), they were excellent hosts. We stayed in the cabins at night and spent our days shooting absolutely beautiful footage. The scenery... More

Had such a wonderful time. Loved the food and the lodging. Wonderful and gracious hosts that provided fun and excellent conversation. They are very conscious about your safety. The lodges are very clean and comfortable. There was no shortage of tastey treats and wonderful meals. Loved working with the dogs and have tons of photos. The surroundings are breath taking.... I stayed at the Tagish Wilderness Lodge a couple of summers ago and found my short vacation there simply superb. The setting, the condition of the cabins, the Swiss couple running the place, the food – amazing. What I loved most about this place was not only the fact how well the Koerner’s treat their Huskies, but also the amount... More

I had always wanted to stay in a log cabin in the wilderness and was so lucky to do this one August at Tagish, I saw amazing wildlife, trips on the lake and brilliant food, company and hospitality from Jackie and Beat. It was so wonderful I went back again with my sons in February and did dog mushing, walked... More
