First stop on a Holland America Cruise Tour. Westmark Hotels are owned by Holland America. Hotel is adequate. Restaurant is a bit pricey. When we arrived, reception already had our details, but still spent another 10 minutes checking us in. The room we had was a bit stuffy but way too noisy if we opened the window. Staed 3 nights, average motel, rooms okay, clean, staff good. Shuttle to airport or they pay cab fare for you. Not great TV choice of channels. Did not eat at hotel. Staff good. Walkiing distance to downtown. more

I spent 5 nights at this property on two occasions in June and July 2005. I was very satisfied with everything. Already the first impression at check in was nice, the front desk people are very friendly, helpful and efficient. I must especially mention a font desk girl named Shannon who went all the way to meet all my requests.... more
