Excellent guesthouse in the coolest neighbourhood of Johannesburg, Melville. The owners and their staff are really nice people, interested and helpful. Rooms are nice and spacious and clean, breakfast is great! But most important: it feels safe to go out on your own, restaurants and bars around the corner. I am sure I will be back here!

The Sleepy Gecko is a gorgeous, clean and welcoming guest house close to lots of great restaurants. We booked for only one night and ended up staying 4! Great guesthouse with lovely people. Location is perfect and the area is safe.
