I knew it was basic that's ok, but it wasn't clean - stained quilt covers, filthy window frames looked they hadn't been touched in years, no light in the hall to the loo, dirty taps, I could go on - we felt so uncomfortable that we couldn't face staying for breakfast. Would definitely not recommend.

The castle hotel is in a lovely village and ideal for brands hatch . Good basic rooms very clean with nice TV and wireless.Breakfast is very good and Carol the landlady was very helpfull and friendly as were all of her staff .Will return when im next in the area
