We booked this stay through RCI as an "extra vacation" so it was an exceptional value for the location. This is a decent, clean, family-friendly resort located in an ideal location. While it is most certainly not going to be mistaken for a Ritz-Carlton, our accommodations were much better than expected - the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit was spacious,... more

I just got back from The Lodge this week, was there for 5 days. The Lodge itself was great, I got a 1 bedroom with a pull-out coach during my stay. The room was very clean, the kitchen was stalked, the bathroom was clean. Only negative is the tv reception wasn't always the best. Our room faced the street (right... more

Stayed here for a week in December. The nice part about this place is you can easily walk to the casinos. The rooms are rustic but the carpet in ours seemed pretty warn. This place was just ok for the price, I would go back, but I can't have a rave review. more

Recently stayed at The Lodge at Lake Tahoe. It is a very nice, reasonably priced, family oriented place. We booked a 1 bdrm, full kitchen unit for a week - included a King size bed and fold out Queen sleeper sofa for $117 a night (with AAA discount). The queen sleeper mattress was a bit thin. The rooms were spacious... more

We exchanged our time share to stay at the Lodge for a week. The place is very pleasant, rustic with comfortable beds, and a full kitchen. The unit had a DVD/VHS unit and you could rent movies at the office for $1. There was an adequate pool and hot tub. The place is on Pioneer Road, off the main highway... more

Just spent time in beautiful South Lake Tahoe while they were having a 'heat wave' with highs in the upper 80's. With no humidity and being from the south, we were just fine. Office very friendly. Had 2 bed/2 bath. New lodgepole pine furniture and new tile work throughout - very well done. Very clean. Full kitchen with most everything... more

I spent a week at the Lodge and found it to be above average. The girls in the office were very friendly and very helpful. I had a two bedroom, two bath apartment that was clean and very comfortaable. Decorated very nicely. TV's in both bedrooms plus the living room. Full kitchen with everything we needed and when we needed... more

My stay at The Lodge on the 4th of July weekend of 2004 was completely different from the previous reviews. My family and a friend’s family stayed there for three nights. We shared a two room suite. One bedroom had a queen bed and the other bedroom had two queen beds. The living room sofa also folded out to a... more

I own a timeshare at the Lodge. Unfortunately, I find the people working there deceptive. I can not get the weeks I want every year and sometimes they say that there is nothing available...I don' tbelieve them... but I can prove it...i hope the State will look into their deceptive practices...I think the people there are making money and pocketing... more

My husband and I recently stayed at The Lodge at Lake Tahoe for our honeymoon for only three nights (Sunday thru Wednesday) and had to book the remainder of the week somewhere else. The unit has a full kitchen but the interior was not very well maintained (paint peeling on walls & toilet seats; bathroom faucet knob coming loose; upholstery... more
