We had such a wonderful time at the Black Bear Inn. Each breakfast was a piece of art and tasted delicious. Got the cookbook! We were there for the first snow of the season and it was so inviting to sit in front of the fire in the lodge and enjoy the ambiance. Will go back, definitely! more

We had the most restful and relaxing getaway. The Black Bear Inn was so welcoming. Every staff person was friendly and took great care of us. The breakfasts were fabulous. Stayed here for 4 days in August. The property is maintained meticulously with a lovely fountain, trees, grass, the works. The Inn is situated away from the lake but has high quality rooms and amenities. I wish we could say the same for the staff at the Inn. We had a horrible experience.
