We have traveled quite a bit and have stayed in many Hotels and Motels.
We have seen a broad septrum of different experiences. This is one we would like to forget!!
My husband and I were so excited to visit Lake Tahoe and made sure we picked a great location to stay close to casinos and shops.
In order for us to do this we had to sacrifice quality if we were to save money. The Carriage House Inn was very inexpensive and close to the casinos and shops. Those are all the positive things to say about this motel.
When we arrived the room was old, outdated and uninviting. There were burn marks throughout the room and furniture. We could not believe this room we were given was a "non-smoking" room. The managers were not friendly as the reviews we had read prior to booking of our stay. The Motel staff was not only non-presentable they were unprofessional (by smoking in the Motel stairways during their breaks) in addition, they were non-friendly.
