This place was so bad, we didn't even stay! There were broken windows, no window coverings, no bathroom doors. I wouldn't have even sat on the bed, it was so gross! This has to be the worse "hotel" I've ever stayed. No management or front desk person on duty, we had to come back twice to check in. Room was shower only and was too small to even turn around in. They dont take reservations on the phone, its walk in only. Heat went out in room and the drunk maintenance... more

We booked this place as a last resort. It was close to where friends were staying and we had waited too long to book a room and Tahoe Retreat and Spa was one of the very few places with rooms still available. This year I made sure not to make the same mistake so I would not be stuck here... more

This is a terrible place to stay during summer time. No AC not even a fan. The spa is so little and is not working. The room is just terrible, it stings. I woudn't recommend staying here. If I knew its gonna be like this I'd rather pay more or maybe even stay at Motel 6 that might be even... more
