Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I picked the location because it's rather close to both Jelling and Billund, but the spot otherwise doesn't offer much attraction. Our room had a view of the parking lot and street. The hotel itself is modern behind the old front. Our room was very small and lacked a fridge or in-room safe, but had very good reading lights. Everything looked clean until I dropped something and looked under the bed. We found the staff pleasant and efficient. We had breakfast there and a couple of dinners. Breakfast was a bit crowded and the serving space could have been better organized. There was no cutting board for the bread. Yogurt was rationed in the tiniest of cups. The breakfast hostess had a tough time keeping up at rush hour. Breakfast was included but the dinners were pricey, especially for someone paying in SEK. WiFi worked well and was free.

As its rather close to Billund Airport, it was worth a try instead of staying/trying at the ''local'' airport hotel/restaurants...and it was worth the 15 minutes drive. Very good service, very nice and clean place, and dinner + wines excellent at affordable prices!

Arrived and my heart sank, 3 nights booked here and while I said I was prepared to stay for 1 night they refuse to accept a cancellation for nights 2 & 3. The place is dire and depressing, the staff are unhelpful. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. Mattress is just a sprung base on which you can feel every spring through the barely existent 50mm mattress topper that flattens to less than 10mm when laid on. This is going to kill my back and the pillows flatten to almost nothing when I lay my head on them. The hotel is in a one horse town, it’s almost non-existent with the hotel being the only place to eat without driving to another town. The actual urinals are visible from the hotel main entrance. Big mistake to book here AVOID!!!!!!!

Visited on short notice and had an EXCELLENT stay and will return whenever there is an opportunity. Staff were dedicated, friendly, professional. Included 3 course menu which was superb, not a huge amount of food but just enough for most. Breakfast very good. Rooms not the largest nor very cosy but everything else is. Very well run place, highly recommended.

Very friendly staff welcomed us. The room must have been newly refurbished and was perfect for our one night stay. Great chill out area. Best was breakfast thought - freshly squeezed oranges and was impressed that the soft-boiled eggs were actually perfectly boiled - very rarely experience that from a hotel buffet. We'll def be back

Whenever travelling to Denmark I always stay at this hotel, not your normal hotel, it's a single story hotel, rooms are a reasonable size, service is good and the restaurant is excellent, good choice of well prepared food. The hotel is very convenient for both Billund airport and the factory, being about half way between the two. Always have an enjoyable stay here.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with uneven numbers as these are at the rear of the hotel which is quieter.
