After traveling all over England, I'd have to say that the three nights we stayed at the Butterleigh Inn were my favorite. The small village Inn was clean, pleasant, and very comfortable. The food was the best we had in England. When I dream, I dream in Butterleigh. more

I stayed at the Butterleigh Inn for two nights, whilst attending a event. The welcome was good, our accommodation was good, the beds comfortable and the Bathroom excellent. The grounds were lovely, great... more

My mother and I stayed at this delightful little inn in April 2007. We took a tour of the Devon area from Back-Roads Touring Co. and this was the inn that Back-Roads had chosen for us. It was a wonderful choice. The innkeepers, Peter and Tina, could not have been more friendly and accomodating and they made us feel right... more

I recently visited Exeter for a friends get together but didn't want to stay in the City. I wanted to have a bit of a "get away" and The Butterleigh Inn was ideal. Being outside of Exeter was great, and having the countryside around me was great. Living close to London, it was nice to just walk around and enjoy... more
