We did not stay here so can only rate the Restaurant. We walked up to the Pub from the Boats (12 minutes walk) about 5pm and were told that if we wanted to come that evening there was only one table left. After surveying the menu we decided to give it a spin later that night. The hostess is extremely... More

On a out of season boating holiday with 3 mates and stopped off at Potter Heigham. Went to Broadhaven Tavern for drink and something to eat - steer clear of this establishment. Walked on and found this wonderful oasis called the Falgate Inn. Because it was out of season there was no beer on hand-pump but a good selection of... More

Called in last Sunday on the off chance as we were visiting Norfolk for the weekend. Pub was full, we were accommodated within 20 minutes but would advise booking. Lovely Sunday lunch, lots of nicely cooked vegetables, roast potatoes, huge Yorkshire pudding, delicious roast beef and lots of tasty gravy. You won't go away feeling hungry! Very friendly and helpful... More

Great place to eat, seems very popular with locals as it was really busy, so probably best to ring and reserve a table especially peak season, but despite going lunchtime on a Sunday we had a warm welcome & were accommodated very quickly, the lunches were lovely, melt in the mouth meat and giant homemade Yorkshire puds & nothing was... We visited the Felgate Inn on a Sunday lunch time, unfortunately it was not the kind of welcome new customers would expect! Normally a smile and greeting, but here NO. There were three ladies of differing ages serving or should I say standing behind the bar, who seemed more interested chatting to some guys at the end of the bar... More

My family ate at the restaurant this week. The pub is a ten minute walk from Potter Heigham bridge and far better than anything on offer by the bridge. The service was great and we were all satisfied with our food. The portion sizes were very large- even for Norfolk, and a starter/dessert is enough for 2.

What a friendly pub/restaurant, and the Sunday lunch was amazing, roast beef (husbands choice) Roast pork for me, both cooked to perfection, 6 vegetables, all cooked perfectly, Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes delicious, huge serving and we couldn't quite manage to clear our plates, certainly no room for pudding but we noticed some people did indulge. The staff were very friendly... More
