We went to Bahia on an extended weekend trip with friends we were about 35 people and we got there on a charter bus. So we were there several days with no transportation. The problem we found was that the pools/activities/ grills were all very far from the rooms and the rooms were up a mountain. So when you went to the pool you had to be sure you were taking anything you want for the day with you because it was a heck of a walk back to the room. We returned another time and came in cars so it was a bit better but still a hassle to go back to the room. That is my only real compaint. The kids loved the pools and slides and the guys all had a good time playing tennis and grilling out. The women swam with the kiddo's, sat under the palapa and relaxed by the pool. We felt very safe and the atmosphere was very family friendly and the staff was great. We ate in the rooms several times, grilled out some and ate in the restaurant.
