Clean room with all you need and low price. However little character, and communal areas (stairs/landing etc) seriously need refurbishment. Food again low price, but seemed to be of "mass catering" quality so not as good as it appeared, and limited cold breakfast options.

In need of a revamp very dated. Fab staff but food not the best cheap and lacks taste. Its a shame because it could be a great place to dine. Not very good veg on the carvery monday night sweetcorn ! Riasts burnt and cabbage not cooked.

Attended our friends wedding yesterday at the Mackworth hotel and had a wonderful day. Adam and the staff were so helpful, the ceremony was lovely, the food was very tasty, it came out hot, the beef was tender and there was plenty of gravy! Loved the evenings entertainment and buffet, the hotel and staff made a wedding day very special.
