Very impressive location, above the village of Las Mestas, at the entrance to the famously remote Las Hurdes area. Be aware that the area itself is isolated, and there isn't much in the village. For dinner, you are more or less restricted to the hotel restaurant , but thankfully this is excellent - a fixed-price four course dinner for 18 euros, with choices changing daily. The hotel itself is very smart - crisp, immaculate decor, spacious rooms, lovely views towards the mountains, outdoor swimming pool. The hotel has a car park, and is well signposted from local roads. more
