Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely site in the countryside. Very rural and quiet. The site was very clean and tidy and the facilities immaculate. Lovely bar area, pool and the whole site was very nice. Lovely owners and interested in your trip.

Overall a well run camp site but location is in the middle of no where. So make sure you bring enough food and drink to last. The ‘restaurant’ and shop is severely limited with the only alternative place to eat an overpriced pretentious farm house up the road. The pool; would seem a blessing until you find out you cannot swim in it unless you have a speedo or purchase a camp site approved costume. So in short, unless you enjoy wearing budgie smugglers you won’t be able to use the pool. This brings me onto additional campsite rules; the gate is locked from 10pm to 8am, so if you need to get in or out between those hours, good luck. Drive time to Carcassonne is over an hour, along a narrow country lane for a good part, stressful. Would I stay here again? No.

Had a lovely stay as family of three with a motorhome. Pitch was good size and we had no problem with water and electricity. Easy to hook up and fill up. The facilities pool and bar were really great. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here in our Motorhome. Had planned on staying a few nights to visit Carcassonne but landed up staying 5 nights and visiting Lastours and Narbonne . Lovely friendly site with friendly owners and Pascale spoke good English which was very helpful. We certainly enjoyed her fathers company when having a beer at the end of the day. The pitch was a good size and shaded by trees which was nice as the weather was 38 degrees! Good size swimming pool and nice play area for the kids not that we needed it ! I would have no problem recommending this site.

This small family owned site offers a real peace and quiet setting among mature Holm oaks and granite boulders. There is a great swimming pool and lots to keep children entertained. We would highly recommend and will be returning. It would be nice to be able to order bread for next day collection as the site is quite remote. We visited in our self contained motorhome during low season and found Pascale and Davide welcoming and helpful in answering any questions.

Very good and nice stay! Shadow places, friendly owners, very nice environment. Perfect to go to Carcassonne, but also Grignan-plage is nice and with approx. 75 minutes by car not that far for a day. Check the nice Tea Room and Wine Bar close by the camping.

Planned to stay for 2 nights camping whilst visiting Carcasonne but ended up staying for 5days. Friendly owners, spacious pitch and quiet rural location.Good trips out to pretty local villages and canal du midi as well as Carcasonne. Farmhouse with cafe and tapas bar within walking distance. (Would recommend their homemade cakes) Overall a great stay.

Received a very warm welcome from Pascale (who speaks excellent English) and husband David. Nice site with large shady pitches. Wifi available at the bar, nice pool area, some basic groceries available, excellent croissants and bread delivered to the site (order the night before). Only down side was the route in !!, directions given when we booked not very easy to follow, we approached from Toulouse direction but we missed the turn at Pezens, sat nav then (thankfully) took us towards outskirts of Carcassonne then onto the D118 (direction Mazamet), we have a Landrover Discovery and tow a Swift Conquerer and this route deff suited us better (found the proper route without the caravan later in the week and really didn't feel suitable for large cars with caravans) even then the road approaching the campsite was a little tight !!. The site is lovely if you want a quiet unspoilt location.

Pulled onto the camp site to be met by the owners. We had a cabin in the woods for 3 nights, it was quiet and very peaceful. The facilities are great, but basic. If you want a break from the busy and noisy campsites go here it was awsome for us.
