The Hacienda is a wine estate just outside of Salamanca. The buildings have been sensitively converted and there is a separate Spa but no pool. The hotel's a historic building in a beautiful location, offering good food and a great atmosphere. On the downside, kids are not really catered for, although they're very welcome, as always in Spain. In particular, they've no cots, no high chair and the babysitting service (mentioned on some sites) is an incredible €100 per hour! More like daylight robbery, anyway,... more
