We spent a very enjoyable weekend at Old Church Farm where we were made more than welcome by Bob and Carol. Our room was very spacious and comfortable although it was on the road side of the house we were not disturbed at al by traffic, very quite. The en suite was an added bonus and very clean. Our breakfast... More

The b&b is surprisingly set opposite the church on the main road. you do get some traffic noise but its minimal. The building itself is a lovely old farmhouse with an interesting history as told in the room information. It's clear when you first meet Robert that he is keen for you to relax and enjoy your stay. the room... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were using the Zorbing south which is close by. I really cannot fault it, the rooms were beautifully presented, the breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Set in the lovely village of Broadmayne which is about 10 mins from Dorchester. Thank you very much for a very... More

Very nice welcome from Robert. The rooms are spacious and very clean in a beautiful, historic property. Breakfast was excellent - coffee just needed an extra spoonful in it! Shame we weren't spending longer. Having to bring a baby cot wasn't too much of a problem for us but could be for others. More

We stayed here for just one night, en route to Cornwall, but wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely clean room, with pleasing (not over done) decor, large bathroom with bath and powerful shower fitting. Breakfast was wonderful, home made preserves, fresh chives on my scrambled eggs, delicious. We really hope to go back there. More

We visited this B&B for a short break and were very impressed. The room (double with seperate private bathroom) was tastefully decorated and comforatable. The fact that the cottage has history and the village location adds to the pleasure of staying in this B&B. The breakfast was delightful, freshly made and included home made preserves. The location is great if... More

Met by the very helpful owner, Bob. The room was spacious, clean and tidy and had all the mod cons with everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Fresh milk, private bathroom and lots of hot water. Little lounge to relax in as well. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice of Continental up to a full English. We... More

When given the choice we would always select a hotel and pay the premium for the additional facilities but Old Church Farm was a short walk from the 50th birthday party we were attending that weekend so we took the risk. To put it simply, read the website, it's accurate. The room we occupied, room 1, was light and airy... More

We spent five nights at Old Church Farm. We were welcomed into Mr & Mrs Walkers home, nothing was too much trouble. Always on hand to give advise, very helpful. We ate at the local Pub, The Black Dog, would recommend it highly. We were able to walk from the house most evenings. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection... More

The Old Church Farm was a pleasant and beautiful place to stay in. The staff were extremely friend and made the accommodation seem like a family home. It was extremely wonderful to stay in. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Would recommend to stay in and would return in the future. More
