Finca El Carmen as been always a beautiful place on Route 40 8 Kms north from angastaco. It is one of those hidden gems that, unfortunatelly. few people stop to enjoy. “Fantastic estancia stay, great hospitality”

We stayed at Finca El Carmen in July 2011 as a stopover on the long and tiring drive from Cachi to Cafayate on the advice of a local tour guide. We couldn't believe our luck when we stumbled upon this finca as we hadn't found anywhere suitable to stay in Angastaco and it was quite late in the day. The location is superb, not far from Angastaco on the Ruta 40 towards Molinos, with fantastic views over the Valle Calchaquies, an amazing old church and a nearby lake. The rooms... More
