The small privately run guest house is immaculately clean. We had a decent sized twin rooms with individual 3/4 beds. A lovely change from the usual narrow singles withabout a foot of floor space between you. The owners are very friendly and helpful without being pushy. A very comfortable relaxing stay.

Stayed over BH weekend and it was full, which isn't surprising, the rooms are clean and nicely presented, service is amazing, we were a four (2a 2c) they gave us a massive room and an extra bed. One of the best nights sleep ever and a great brekkie too, thank you!

We stayed overnight for a family wedding, so being able to check in at 11am (try asking for that at the big hotel chains!) Was a huge bonus and gave us plenty of time to get ready. Our rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and quiet. The owners were friendly and helpful if you needed them, but quietly unobtrusive the... More

After sleepless nights in uncomfortable beds in noisy big hotels the Ascott was a haven of peace and tranquillity....Room 5 was beautifully decorated and the bed gave me the best nights sleep I had had in a long time.It was elegant, and had a spacious en-suite bathroom...This is the one to ask for ...

Lovely independent hotel, well managed by very friendly owners. My only complaint was the light curtains in my room meant that sleeping once the sun was up was difficult- but that was unique to my room, we had 5 rooms booked and all the others had thick curtains.

I stayed at this charming B&B for over 100 nights whilst working in Salford since last summer which should give some indication of how highly I rate this establishment. For me, it ticked all the boxes: comfortable rooms, convenient location, decent breakfast, welcoming and friendly staff, reasonably priced. Unlike other similar hotels in the area, it also has more than... More

Excellent small hotel. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Conveniently situated just off M602. Wouldn't hesitate to stay her next time I'm in Manchester

We stayed here over night while we watched the Manchester derby.. Lovely hotel, felt very home like. Warm and inviting. Our room was number 7 situated on the top floor.. The room was small with a sloping ceiling, but was perfectly fine as we were only there a night.. The bathroom was clean and the shower lovely.. Would suggest a... More
