I would thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel. Its warm and modern decor is very welcoming when you walk through the door and the staff are so friendly with nothing too much trouble, The attention to detail is second to none and the most amazing food you would taste anywhere. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with all the... More

I was visiting the NE to go to the places my dad talked about in his latter years of his life. He died in July in Canada having lived there for nearly 18 years in his second marriage. An old school friend from Fraserburgh recommended the Hotel. The communication by e-mail and face to face with Colin and Norman was... More

An absolute gem! The large chain hotels could take a leaf out of Colin and Norman's book on customer service. Nothing was too much trouble from directions to advice on park and ride locations in Aberdeen! The quality of food in the restaurant was 5 star and I can 100% recommend the salmon and prawn cocktail! The Cajun chicken was... More

Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Food is absolutely fantastic - ingredients are locally sourced. I had the black pepper chicken with award winning black pudding. Good selection of wine too. I would definately go back. More

Loved our stay here. It is a small but classy spot. Rooms were very clean. Staff is friendly. You will not be sorry about dining here either. Breakfast is great and dinner is prepared to perfection. You will not go wrong by staying at the Pitsligo Arms! More

We stayed in the Islay room, rather noisy from road traffic, but comfortable. It would have been good to have a basket with shampoo, conditioner and cotton wool etc in the the bathroom but the local shop sells a good selection of this,so not a great problem. More

Have eaten here several times - wonderful menu, great staff, lovely food. Very disappointed that we weren't warned that the menu changes on a Sunday, no a la carte menu available, seemed more like a 'chain' restaurant menu list. Please Please Please warn people when they book a table on a Sunday, or better still, have the main menu available... More

We were made to feel most welcome from the minute we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. It was clean and well presented, with hospitable hosts and a delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay again. More

The welcome and service are understated and friendly. The food is first class, the decor and fittings are too and the rooms are comfortable. We shall be back when we are in the area. Genuinely dog friendly as well. More
