Spanhoe Lodge is off the beaten track so a peaceful night’s sleep is ensured in beautiful open countryside. Its safe, spacious parking is ideal for veteran and vintage cars. This is a pleasant little B&B but I don't get how it has so many 5 star reviews. This was our 2nd stay with Steve & Jennie, and what can you say. The perfect hideaway with great view down the little valley so pieceful and quiet. Our hosts made us both feel very welcome. ..... but I'll say it again! I booked my elderly, wobbly mother and her friend with little dog into Spanhoe Lodge. By prior arangement the delightful Jennie looked after both old ladies with all meals from Saturday lunch time to Sunday evening and made them feel very welcome. Home cooked meals were excellent and we highly recommend this establishment. More
