7 of us stayed here on our first night walking along Hadrians Wall. Paula was very accommodating even though this was a working farm and it was the lambing season. Good breakfast, tv room with log burner fire, clean rooms.

This was the perfect spot for my first day on the walk, extremely comfortable and made me feel at home. The room was clean and very functional. The additional amenities that were available made the stay all the more enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was great, although my ability to soft boil my own eggs is somewhat SUSPECT.

After 4 nights in a tent walking Hadrian s Wall this was like paradise.I can only endorse what others have said about Paula and the accommodation it was great.She lets us park our car at the farm for a small fee and we got a bus outside to Carlisle to begin the walk.
