One small thing hand cut chunky chips are NOT oven chips, do not use flowery language on your menus it just irritates the customers and the food was very good, the Carpenters is a lovely place and we enjoy returning again and again over the years!

My wife and I stayed at the Carpenters Arms for one night but wished it was longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and recently refurbished - very tasteful. The atmosphere and food in the bar/restaurant were just superb. Highly recommended!!
