I have stayed at several places around Newport and this is the best so far. Sandra is welcoming and helpful and the location is quiet with great views from the balconies, one in room 1 (best room) and the other in the guests lounge, see photos. The kitchen/breakfast room is avaliable to use after breakfast is cleared away.

There really isnt anything I would change about this place....the owners are lovely, grounds, rooms, facilties, animals all fantastic. Would not hesitate to re-visit. Sandra and John havent missed a trick - really did feel very comfortable - and this is coming from a b&b virgin!

On arrival at Red Gables we were greeted by Millie, their gorgeous dog, and then we met Sandra Corbett, the Proprietor. We were warmly greeted after a long and somewhat tiring journey from London and shown our accommodation.
